What List Bulb 2.0 shipped in July 2026—Google sign-in, product claims, Free/QuickPass/Featured plans, homepage featured strip, and the launch directories hub.

List Bulb 1.0 proved the catalog loop. 2.0 (July 7, 2026) was about giving founders a home base and clearer ways to get found.
What changed
Accounts. Sign in with Google. Manage products in one place instead of hunting email threads.
Claims. If your product was already listed, you could claim it and take ownership.
Plans. Free, QuickPass, and Featured—so review priority and placement were explicit. Live details and dofollow counts are on pricing, not buried in a sales deck.
Homepage featured strip. Paid Featured products get a real surface, not only a row in search.
Launch directories hub. “Where else should I submit?” became a filterable checklist with DR and dofollow signals—see Launch directories. We also wrote a full best SaaS directories 2026 guide that uses that hub as the live source of truth.
Changelog. Public changelog so shipping is visible without reading git history.
Why it mattered
v1 was a directory. v2 is a directory founders can operate: claim, upgrade, unlist, track, and plan the next submission wave. Later 2.1 polish (lifecycle emails, analytics charts, badge reminders) is on the changelog—this post stays on the 2.0 jump.
If you are a founder reading this
- Browse or submit.
- Sign in and claim if the listing already exists.
- Use Launch directories after you are live—not instead of a good List Bulb profile.
- For the calendar around launch week, use the SaaS launch checklist.
The product keeps moving. The changelog has the dated list; this page is the 2.0 story.
