List Bulb is a product discovery platform and AI tools directory. Submit a product URL; after review, your product goes live at /tools/[slug]. Each tool has one primary category for browsing and optional tags for filters on the homepage.
Categories are the main shelf — one per tool, with pages at /category/[slug]. Tags are optional (up to five) and show up as homepage filters. We dropped workflow-stage filters in favor of this.
Someone reads every submission before it appears in the public catalog. We care whether the product works, fits the category, and is worth listing — not whether it paid to be here.
Go to /submit, paste your product URL to pull name, logo, and preview, then send it in. You land on /tools/[slug] to verify your badge while the listing is still pending.
Free listing is available — badge verification required before submit. Optional QuickPass and Featured plans speed review and add placement benefits. Paid plans do not guarantee approval. See /pricing for current prices.
Yes. Live listings and tools pending review can upgrade from your account product page. Upgrades are separate one-time checkouts at the price shown. Featured homepage placement starts when your listing goes live on the directory, not while it is still in review.
Free listings get one dofollow link after you verify our badge and the listing goes live. QuickPass includes two dofollow links when live — no badge required. Featured includes four dofollow anchors on your listing page while featured placement is active, then two after the featured window ends. Until a listing is live, outbound links use nofollow.
For free listings, the badge proves you control the product domain and unlocks your dofollow backlink. It is not paid placement, does not change ranking, and is not required for QuickPass or Featured plans.
Use /llms.txt for a site summary, /ai.txt for AI usage permissions, /tools and /sitemap.xml for the full catalog, /rss.xml for syndication. A short guide lives at /docs/getting-started.
No. There is no public REST catalog API. Consume listings via HTML pages (/tools), /sitemap.xml, or /rss.xml. Routes under /api/ power the website (submit form, badges, analytics) and are not offered as an integration surface.
Open Profile at /account and use Delete account in the danger zone. We list your products first and email a confirmation link. Your profile, sessions, and upvotes are removed. Live products are removed from the directory and unlinked from your account (listing rows may remain without your account). Non-live products — including drafts, pending or rejected submissions, and products you already unlisted — are deleted. Payment records may be retained for accounting and fraud prevention.
Open the product in Your Products. Live products can be unlisted from the directory immediately; the listing record stays so you can List again if you did not change listing details, or Resubmit for review if you edited them. Drafts, rejected, pending, or already-unlisted products can be deleted permanently. You can have up to 5 unfinished listings at a time.
Paid QuickPass and Featured fees are generally not refunded once review or placement benefits were delivered. Unlisting ends Featured placement and removes the product from the directory. Deleting a non-live product removes its record permanently.
