Mockbase

MockBase gives you a real, live HTTPS endpoint before your backend even exists. Point your frontend, mobile app, or test suite at a MockBase URL and it answers exactly how you configure it — not just a static JSON blob. Routes support conditional responses, matching on query params, headers, a path into the JSON body, a GraphQL operation name, or an element inside a SOAP envelope. Response bodies can use sandboxed Jinja2 templating to echo back the request, mint a UUID, or stamp a timestamp, and stateful CRUD means a POST is actually there when you GET it afterward, backed by Redis with zero code. For testing failure paths, chaos injection fails a percentage of requests on purpose — a slow gateway timeout, a truncated body, an empty response, or a genuinely dropped connection — while rate limit simulation returns deterministic 429s after N requests in a window. A live request inspector streams every call over WebSocket with method, path, headers, request/response bodies, latency, and client IP, copyable as cURL, fetch, axios, or several other languages. MockBase also supports OpenAPI import/export and mock as code: a personal API key drives a dependency-free CLI and an MCP server, so an AI agent or CI pipeline can create and inspect mocks without touching the dashboard. It handles REST, GraphQL, and SOAP, and every save is versioned so a bad edit is always one click from undone.
